A point to point, Hand wired fuzz pedal made in Portland OR USA.
The parametric notch tone control, tone bypass switch and volume control allow for a seemingly endless variety sludgy brutal tones.
You may notice that the Valhalla does not have a gain control. That is because it is designed to interact directly with the volume control of your instrument as the gain control.
For optimal effectiveness the Valhalla is best used as the first pedal in your effects chain without any buffering from other pedals. Buffers may alter the tone of the Valhalla.
Blackhawk Amplifiers now includes a passive pickup simulator circuit utilizing a mini transformer which allows you to place the pedal anywhere in your pedal chain.

•Notch filter (this could be described as a "mid scoop" without going into technical details but feel free to look it up online if you are curious)
•Notch filter bypass switch (disconnects the notch filter control)
•Output tone switch: normal and bass boost. Bass boost provides a massive low end especially when the notch is at lower settings.
All BLACKHAWK pedals and preamps are true bypass and standard “one spot style” 9v, Negative tip, 2.1mm barrel.
