Your spell is cast with an opamp blasting a transformer and some germanium diodes (creating an octave up/ring mod effect).

The MITHRANDIR OCTAVE FUZZ stacks perfectly before or after any other dirt you want to throw at it. Absolutely incredible for adding some attack to your bass as well!

Clicking the octave off sends you into dirty boost mode which will absolutely decimate most any Amplifier!

This design is my response to the regular requests for an FZ2 “clone”. I’m not big on cloning other pedals and prefer to create my own designs, so THE MITHRANDIR is born.

All Blackhawk fuzz pedals can be placed anywhere in your guitar chain. You never have to worry about buffers or active pickups getting in the way of your tone.
